Parent Teacher Organization

President & Vice-President shall:

• Preside at all meetings of the association.
• Pick up and sort through CRSPTO mail and disseminate appropriately and on a timely basis.
• Consult/assist members of all CRSPTO committees.
• Coordinate the work of the officers and committees of the association.
• Be allowed to allocate the necessary funds to pay for routine expenditures where time is of the essence.
• Provide summation of the year’s activities at the June meeting.

Treasurer shall:

• Have custody of all funds of the association, which shall be deposited in the bank account in the name of CRSPTO .
• Keep a full and accurate account of receipts and expenditures and be prepared to report at monthly meetings upon request.
• The financial records shall be available for review at each monthly meeting.
• Assist in preparing a proposed annual budget to be presented at the September meeting and be available for questions by the members.  This budget will be voted on at the October meeting.
• Make a full report at the last meeting of the school year in June.
• Complete CRSPTO taxes each year using postcard filing via the computer and IRS website. 

Secretary shall:

• Coordinate business items for the monthly meeting agenda and prepare an appropriate number of copies for the next CRSPTO meeting.
• Record the minutes of all meetings of the association.
• Keep a file of all letters, records pertaining to the work of the association.
• Be responsible for all correspondence from the association.
• Be responsible for keeping the attendance register at each regular meeting of the association
